performance at museum of Liverpool

We use improvisation and devising to make new shows for all sorts of spaces, sometimes together with other actors and practitioners. We have performed in theatres, schools, museums and arts centres in the UK and in Europe.

We work with schools, colleges and arts organisations to deliver workshop-based training, using the performing arts to explore and share creative themes and ideas. This is Neil Bramwell, co-leading a workshop during a residency at the Pyramid Arts Centre in Warrington.

Theatre techniques, new technologies, radio broadcasting, storytelling and mask-making - our ongoing training equips us with new skills and the confidence to challenge attitudes to People who have Learning Difficulties.

Wicked Fish has worked with partners in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Lithuania, Bulgaria and The Netherlands. At home, we have joined up with organisations like Loud and Clear, First Take and Liverpool Community Radio.

Our history is really important - our families, our city and the stories of how other People who had Learning Difficulties used to live. We made an exhibition about this for the Museum of Liverpool in 2014.

Our project work is varied, and has included memory workshops with Moving on with Life and Learning, exploring difference with the Home Office and local history sessions with Liverpool Records Office.
